Trouble Shooting
- Application can not start and following window is shown:
- Solution:
- check IBM Lotus Notes Client Installation (start the client),
- check the location of ActiveNotes.exe (it must be in Lotus Notes program folder),
- check system environment variable Path (there must be Lotus Notes program folder included)
- Log Entry: The NOTES.INI file cannot be found on the search path or is corrupted <Error initializing Lotus Notes API!>
- Solution:
- NOTES.INI must contain at least a valid Directory entry (e.g. Directory=D:\Lotus\Notes8\data)
- and must be in the search path
